Whenever you are in the market to sell your skills - as a consultant, agent or professional - you inevitablyhave to pitch to people who know less about your subject than you do.
Paradoxically, this is also where the immediate problem lies. How do you convince your prospective clients that what you offer works differently to what they are accustomed to? After all, they don't know what they don't know. This is particularly true when it comes to a young and still developing industry like mobile printing marketing.
It is only for the last few months that the opinion emerged internationally that we all have to "unlearn" what was drilled into our heads for decades about advertising if we want to fully exploit all the communication opportunities that the mobile phone offers. Up until recently, all the "advertising" that was done on cell phone was based on well known methods from other media like television, radio, mobile print and cellphone Print Release provides cost savings and user security, preventing unauthorized users from viewing the cell phone printing. Users print from their workstation or mobile device to a central print queue. The job does not print until the user authenticates their credentials at the device. Authentication can be a user name and password or more complex methods like proximity cards, mag-stripe cards or Smart Cards. No more confidential jobs and/or unclaimed prints sitting on Cell phone printers. Jobs are deleted from the queue if not printed within a specified time - reducing costs by eliminating the printing of "forgotten" or obsolete jobs.
