No matter you are left hand user or the right hand, the most important is the performance and the appearance. Young people always focus on the appearance of the mobile. We can print on the cell phone if you have the interest on decoration of the mobile. Do not need to search for help of profession, with the mobile printer, any images can be printed on you telephone.
I haven’t heard much news about mobile phones for left-handed users. There was announcement from Virgin Mobile around three years ago, Virgin Mobile launches the world’s first left-handed phone. There are a few other announcements, but it seems not a big interest for many mobile phone manufacturers. It may be because the number of left-handed people is relatively small. On the other side, left-handed users may have already adapted their selves to the “normal” mobile phones.
I am myself not a left-handed user. However, I always use my left hand to operate mobile phones. Why? I usually use my right hand for doing other activities. For example, when I am in a bus or subway, I use my right hand to hold handrail; that’s why I have to use my left hand to operate my phone. Is there any of you who use left hand to operate your phone although you are not left-handed person?
Do left-handed users have problem operating “normal” mobile phone? It seems there are problems with certain phone models, but they are not critical. There are only a few reviews that mentioned the problems. One example is Nokia N93 review from MobileBurn.com.
You then hold the phone like you would hold a camcorder. Left handed people might find it difficult to hold, since they will have to switch or cross their hands to access the two soft keys on top of the screen.
